Closed Captioning
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is
concerned that consumers may experience difculty in
receiving and/or viewing closed captioning on some digi-
tal television(DTV) programming, including high deni-
tion television(HDTV), provided by a subscription video
provider.
If you have difculties from Citizens Mutual Telephone
Cooperative, you should ensure that the captioning func-
tion on your set-top box, if applicable, is turned on and
ensure that the captioning function on your DTV is also
turned on.
If you are still unable to view closed captions, you
should contact the cooperative for assisatance.

Fiber to the Home: Update
CMTEL is nishing up on the fth phase of our ber to the home plan. We are hoping that by September
the project will be turned over to us from the contractors, and at this point we will be cutting customers over
to the new ber and installing new services to them.
This year we are working on the 664 exchange south and southwest of Bloomeld, and a section in the 722
exchange north of Drakesville.
